3 years agoLos Angeles Angels left-hander Jose Suarez (5-4) picked up the win in Thursday's 11-3 blowout against the Texas Rangers. He started strong, going five innings and giving up only one run, but allowed two runs to score on an Andy Ibanez home run in the sixth and was pulled shortly after. Overall, he went 5.2 IP, allowing three runs, one walk, and he struck out six. After moving from the bullpen to the rotation, he has now made five starts this season and has yet to complete six innings of work. On the year, he has a 3.60 ERA, 47 K, 19 BB, and seven home runs allowed in 50 IP. He doesn't contribute much fantasy value, as he has weak ratios and struggles to pitch deep into games.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
