6 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jose Urena picked up the win on Wednesday night against the Tigers, allowing seven hits and three runs to go along with five strikeouts in six innings of work. After a rocky 1-6 start to the season, the righty was able to finally get some backing from a Marlins team that has now won their last five straight. Run support will continue to be an issue for the 27-year-old as Miami has been one of the worst offensive producers in the league this season. As a result, Urena should be left on the wire until the Marlins are able to turn things around, which is unlikely to happen anytime soon.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
