Jose Urquidy Strikes Out Eight In Win
2 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jose Urquidy allowed one run over six innings on Saturday as his club toppled the Angels 9-1. He gave up just two hits and three walks while striking out eight with the only run coming around on a Taylor Ward home run in the third. Urquidy takes his record to 7-3 on the season as he's now allowed just one run in each of his last three starts while logging a quality start in five of his last six contests. The 27-year-old is starting to even out his rough start to the season as he currently sits with a 4.15 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through 15 starts as he looks ahead to a home matchup versus the Royals.
