6 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that rookie quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) is "not too far off" from throwing. However, Allen was still wearing a brace on his right elbow on Thursday. The Bills will likely be forced to start turnover-prone Nathan Peterman in Week 9 against the Bears after Derek Anderson suffered a concussion on Monday night. Things have gone from bad to worse for Buffalo this year, but getting Allen back eventually is something to look forward to. Allen will be a last-ditch QB2 whenever he returns to action, but at least it'll be an upgrade for the rest of the offensive weapons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
