Josh Bell Homers In Return To Pittsburgh
3 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell played in Pittsburgh for the first time since being traded from the Pirates Friday, and he fittingly smashed a solo home run, his 26th of the season. He also walked twice in four plate appearances. Bell has raised his season OPS to .812, which would be the second-highest mark of his career if the season were to end today. He's slashing a robust .304/.418/.643 with five homers over his last 15 games, which should hopefully finally raise his fantasy rostership up to appropriate levels.
