Josh Bell Isn't In Tuesday's Lineup
3 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell isn't in the team's lineup for a Tuesday matchup with the Miami Marlins and left-handed starter Trevor Rogers. Bell is batting .249 with a .310 on-base percentage and 13 home runs in 290 plate appearances this season. It'll be Ryan Zimmerman who gets the start against Rogers on Tuesday. Zimmerman, who is batting cleanup, has turned in a .241 batting average and a .273 on-base percentage to go along with 10 home runs in 165 plate appearances this season. The power is certainly good, but given the matchup with Rogers, you're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming options at first base.
