Josh Bell Playing Outfield For First Time In Years
3 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell is playing the outfield on Sunday for the first time in five years, as Juan Soto is again sitting with a knee issue. The Nationals have been prepping Bell to return to the outfield for a month, according to MASNsports.com. Bell, who is in right field and hitting cleanup on Sunday, has come on strong for Washington and fantasy managers after a slow start to the season. He is slashing .250/.315/.478 with 19 home runs and 60 RBI in 324 at-bats on the year. Bell is a solid first-base option in mixed leagues and would become an outfield asset as well if he plays there enough to gain eligibility.
