6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell picked up two hits in four at-bats while also driving in his fourth run of 2019 in a 2-0 Pirates victory over the Reds on Thursday. Hitting in the cleanup spot, all of his four hits this year have been singles. However, the Pirates are hoping some pop begins to flare up. The team only has three home runs total through their first five games. Bell and the Bucs have favorable matchups through the weekend, having three more games against the boom-or-bust Reds rotation. Bell isn't a must-start by any means, but he has the opportunity to put up some numbers this weekend.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
