7 years agoAfter finishing third in National League Rookie of the Year voting in 2017, Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell will bat fourth for the team on Opening Day. The 25-year-old batted .255/.334/.466 with 26 home runs and 90 RBI in his first full season and .294/.351/.608 with four homers and 12 RBI this spring. He's entrenched as the Pirates first baseman for the foreseeable future and should bat cleanup all season long, where he'll have plenty of run-producing opportunities with his power. At a deep position, Bell often goes overlooked when it comes to fantasy first basemen, but he's a solid backup and utility option in 2018.--Matt Wilkes
