6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell went 1-for-4 with a triple in Saturday's loss to the San Diego Padres. The 25-year-old has started to find more power recently, as he's turned his season around after a rough April. Bell is batting .346/.444/.635 with five doubles, two triples, and two home runs in May and has his overall line up to .268/.344/.421. His strikeout rate is down from 20% in April to 15% in May, and he's also elevating the ball more. In May, his groundball rate is down to 39.5% from 52.9%. Bell has worked his way back to being a startable fantasy asset.--Matt Wilkes
