6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson caught four of five targets for 84 yards in Sunday's defeat at the hands of the New York Giants. Both the yardage and yards-per-catch mark season highs for the wideout, but that is about the extent of the optimism to be found here. The Redskins have lost four games in a row, and have very likely allowed a playoff berth to slip through their grasp. There has not been a single consistent receiving option in this offense all season, and there is no conceivable reason to believe that will change in the final few weeks.--Chris O'Reilly
