Josh Doctson Invisible In Week 3
6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson was held without a catch in Sunday's win over the Packers. For the third week in a row, Doctson was rendered ineffective in Washington's low-volume passing offense. Those who entered the 2018 fantasy season hoping for a breakout campaign from the youngster have been disappointed to say the least, as there is nothing to indicate that he is poised for a big step forward anytime soon. He has hauled in just five of his 13 targets, by far the lowest catch percentage on the team. Washington is 2-1 and just handled the mighty Green Bay Packers, so there won't be an overwhelming surge to change what's been working as they head into their bye week. On the other side of that bye week, however, is a contest with shootout potential against the Saints. We could learn more about where Doctson stands in the Redskins offense in a game in which Alex Smith can reasonably be expected to throw a lot.
