6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson headlines one of the more lackluster groups in the NFL, and hasn't shown any indication that he can be counted on in any fantasy format. In Week 8 he will face a Giants pass defense that has fallen off a cliff against opposing wideouts. After limiting New Orleans receivers to 79 yards on seven catches in Week 4, New York has surrendered an average of 207 yards and 16 receptions to the position over the last three weeks. The Giants have also given up four touchdowns to wide receivers in that span. Nothing about the Redskins' offensive strategy suggests they are suddenly going to start airing it out in Week 8, but if Doctson is ever going to emerge from his first-half rut, an exploitable Giants secondary at least presents him with the opportunity.--Chris O'Reilly
