6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson (heel) was seen walking without a boot or any other assistance on Wednesday, and head coach Jay Gruden said the ailment should not prohibit the receiver from playing in the Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers. Doctson was kicked in the heel while participating in a practice Oct. 1 during the bye week, and he was inactive for last Monday's game in New Orleans. It appears he is trending in the right direction, and with Jamison Crowder a question mark with an ankle issue, Doctson could emerge as a sleeper against the NFL's 26th-ranked pass defense in Week 6 if he is able to go.--Daniel Dobish
