6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson followed up back-to-back touchdown performances with more of what we're used to seeing from him on Sunday: three catches for 32 yards. Doctson was targeted seven times in a close game in which the Redskins could've used a rise-to-the-occasion outing from a wideout, but it was not to be. Further complicating things for the Redskins' receiving corps is the season-ending injury to Alex Smith. Perhaps Colt McCoy will look Doctson's way more often than Smith did, but it's far more likely (at least in the immediate future) that Jordan Reed and Adrian Peterson are relied on more heavily.--Chris O'Reilly
