7 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (arm) is back manning the hot corner after spending a few days as the team’s designated hitter. On Opening Day, Donaldson short-armed quite a few throws to first base, leading to the reveal of him dealing with a “dead arm.” It was never considered to be serious, but now we can say that with near certainty with him back in the field just a few days later. Donaldson is coming off a 1-for-4 effort on Monday that saw him hit his first home run of the year, so perhaps his arm feeling better will lead to better results at the plate, too.--John Smith
