3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson drove in three runs against the Tampa Bay Rays Sunday, going 2-for-4 with a double. This was Donaldson's first extra-base hit since July 26. While Donaldson is enjoying another strong year with an .816 OPS, 16 home runs, 48 runs, and 48 RBI in 297 at-bats, it's been a rough first half of August for the veteran slugger, with just a .200/.310/.240 slash line. Fantasy managers need not worry, as Donaldson is one of the more consistent producers in the league over the past decade, and should get the ship righted shortly.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
