Josh Donaldson Exits Early On Saturday With Tight Hamstring
3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson exited Saturday's game against the Royals with a tight right hamstring. Donaldson hit a double in his second at-bat on Saturday and winced as he rounded first base. He started to slow up and barely beat the throw to second and then exited with the trainer shortly thereafter. The team said he was removed as a precaution and that he is day-to-day for now. It's unfortunate news for Donaldson, who's had a slew of soft tissue leg injuries throughout his career. Luis Arraez has shifted over to cover third base in his absence. The Twins should provide another update in the coming days but fantasy managers should consider Donaldson day-to-day.
