7 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (shoulder) played in his second rehab game on Tuesday with High-A Dunedin, and it's safe to say it was a successful one. The former American League MVP finished 2-for-2 with an RBI and a walk. The results with his bat are fantastic, but perhaps more importantly for long-term purposes, Donaldson played seven innings at third base and wasn’t multi-hopping comical throws to first base like he was earlier in the year. He did commit an error, but all reports indicate it did not seem related to the shoulder injury. There hasn’t been any indication from the team, but there remains speculation Donaldson could be activated on Friday night against the Tampa Bay Rays.--John Smith
