Josh Donaldson Lands On Injured List With Shoulder Injury
3 years agoThe New York Yankees transferred third baseman Josh Donaldson (shoulder) from the COVID-19 injured list to the 10-day injured list on Friday with right shoulder inflammation. The move is retroactive to May 24. The team also moved right-hander Chad Green (elbow) to the 60-day injured list. Whenever Donaldson returns, he could also be facing a one-game suspension for an exchange he had with Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson last weekend. Donaldson deserves to be stashed in most leagues, as he's hitting .238/.349/.414 with five homers, 15 RBI and 17 runs in 37 games in his first year in the Bronx. Marwin Gonzalez should continue to see more playing time at the hot corner with Donaldson sidelined.
