4 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained calf. Manager Rocco Baldelli made it seem as if Donaldson would return sometime during the upcoming road trip, though that clearly won't be the case. The 34-year-old was seen on the field earlier Friday night, dragging weights to test his calf but the endeavor was not a successful one. This is the third time that Donaldson has hit the injured list with a calf injury- hopefully it's not as serious as the one that caused him to miss 38 games in 2017.--Tim Capurso
