2 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson (hand) left the game early on Thursday against the Cincinnati Reds after taking a 95 mph fastball off his right hand. Donaldson didn't start the game, rather entering as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning, but he was replaced by infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa after being hit by a pitch. Fantasy managers should consider the 36-year-old veteran to be day-to-day, but with the All-Star break beginning on Monday, there's a chance we won't see Donaldson again in the first half of the season. He's been mostly a disappointment in 2022 in his first year in the Bronx, hitting .225/.310/.395 with nine home runs, 34 RBI, 29 runs scored and two stolen bases in 253 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
