7 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (shoulder) is expected to be activated on Thursday prior to the team's game against the Indians. Donaldson has been out since April 13 with a shoulder injury. Prior to going down, he was hitting .239 with three home runs and nine RBI. Donaldson has at least 33 home runs the past three seasons and needs to be inserted into all lineups when he returns. If you held onto him during his injury, it appears the payoff is coming sooner than expected. When he returns, infielder Yangervis Solarte may struggle to find everyday at-bats.--Dan Fappiano
