3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf) is back in the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Cleveland Indians. Donaldson missed five games with a calf injury, though his ability to appear in Tuesday's game as a pinch hitter boded well for his potential return to action. The veteran third baseman is batting second against Indians righty J.C. Mejia. Donaldson is slashing .240/.339/.453 with 10 homers, 27 RBI, and 31 runs scored in 192 at-bats while sporting some impressive Statcast metrics.
