Josh Donaldson Suffers Setback In Rehab
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf) suffered a setback during his rehab and will now rest and be re-evaluated in about three weeks. It was discovered in an MRI that Donaldson has an acute strain of his left calf, which likely occurred while he was taking ground balls at the team’s training complex in Florida. What a mess. Assuming the next three weeks go OK, that means we’re likely a month away, at minimum, before Donaldson can return to Blue Jays lineup. His season has pretty much been the opposite of what you’re hoping for in a contract year. If only the Blue Jays had a healthy superstar third base prospect to take his place soon.
