4 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson will bat second on Opening Day against the Chicago White Sox. It's a pretty tough matchup against Chicago's ace Lucas Giolito, who rebounded in a big way in 2019. Still, Giolito was significantly more susceptible to right-handed batters last year, surrendering a .712 OPS compared to just a .572 mark against lefties. Fantasy managers should be excited about Donaldson batting second- it's where he's logged 2173 career plate appearances, the most of any lineup slot. The veteran slugger has slashed .283/.384/.549 for his career in the two-hole, which bodes well for his fantasy numbers in 2020 if Minnesota elects to consistently start him there.--Tim Capurso
