7 years agoCleveland Indians third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf), who has hit home runs in both of the rehab games he has played with the Indians minor league team, will rejoin Double-A Akron on Friday in the Eastern League playoffs. If he doesn't have any setbacks this weekend, he could join the team and make his Indians debut sometime next week. Donaldson has been a huge fantasy disappointment this year because of his injury, but if he's healthy, he could carry fantasy teams down the stretch on a much better team. Jose Ramirez is expected to move to second base and Jason Kipnis is expected to go to the outfield to make room for Donaldson when he is ready.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
