Josh Fuentes Goes Yard In Friday's Loss
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Josh Fuentes went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit, two-run homer in a 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Brewers on Friday. Fuentes wasn't in the starting lineup for this one as Ryan McMahon (forearm) was making his return. He was called upon as a pinch-hitter in the top of the seventh inning and swatted a two-run blast off of Trevor Richards to put the Rockies up 4-0. It was his only at-bat of the night and Colorado would go on to lose the game in extra-innings. The 28-year-old now owns a .238/.271/.397 batting line to go along with seven home runs and 30 RBI across 214 at-bats this year. He doesn't hold much fantasy value being a part-time player with poor rate stats.
