4 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Josh Fuentes went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a strikeout in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Dodgers. The 28-year-old crushed a Blake Treinen offering over the wall in right-center field with Ryan McMahon aboard to tie the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning. It was Fuentes' only hit of the game and his first long ball of the season. He's started every game at third this season and prior to Saturday, when he hit seventh, he was in the two-hole for the Rockies' first two games. He's never gotten a chance to play regularly in his career but there's a clear path to everyday at-bats now that Nolan Arenado is no longer on the team. He's worth adding to your watchlist but shouldn't be rostered at the moment.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
