Josh Fuentes Picks Up Three RBI In Win
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Josh Fuentes went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 3-2 win over the Padres in Game 2 of a doubleheader on Wednesday. Fuentes put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the second inning when he took Blake Snell deep for a two-run shot, his third of the season. He then played the hero in the bottom of the eighth inning (extras) when he hit an RBI single off of Nick Ramirez to plate Charlie Blackmon and win the game. The 28-year-old accounted for all of Colorado's runs on Wednesday but his season has not gone according to plan. He's hitting just .204/.218/.306 with three home runs, 13 RBI, and a 23:2 K/BB ratio over 98 at-bats.
