Josh Fuentes Stays Hot On Sunday
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Josh Fuentes went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, two runs scored, and a strikeout in a 7-6 loss to the Reds on Sunday. Fuentes put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning when he smoked a two-run double off of Jeff Hoffman. He would go on to score later in the frame and add two more singles and score another run in the contest. The 28-year-old has been on fire over the last seven games, slashing .414/.433/.724 with two home runs and 13 RBI across 29 at-bats. He's raised his season batting average to .250 with a .655 OPS after a very sluggish start to the season. He's worth a look in deeper mixed and NL-only leagues, especially as he continues to move up the batting order.
