2 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs are optimistic that six-year veteran wide receiver Josh Gordon can be a nice target for quarterback Patrick Mahomes in limited opportunities. Gordon performed better with each week during the offseason program and could earn the roster spot that went to Daurice Fountain last year. Fountain will be in a battle with Justin Watson, who may offer more versatility on special teams. Gordon isn't guaranteed anything and will need to have a strong training camp in order secure a 53-man roster spot, especially after he had only five catches on 14 targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in 12 regular season games for the Chiefs after joining them midseason. Even with Tyreek Hill gone, Gordon isn't on the fantasy radar.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
