2 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Josh Gordon showed increased speed and caught a 50-yard touchdown from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in practice on Thursday. Gordon struggled for much of the year in 2021 after joining the team in late September, and he had just five catches for 32 yards and a touchdown in 12 games. He was inactive during the postseason. "He's running better and catching better (than last year)," head coach Andy Reid said. There could be more opportunity in the Chiefs offense for Gordon with Tyreek Hill gone, but the team also added JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling and drafted rookie Skyy Moore, so Gordon should go undrafted in standard-sized leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
