Josh Gordon Officially Eligible For Week 1
5 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon is officially eligible to play in Week 1, according to the NFL. Gordon was conditionally reinstated earlier this month. Quarterback Tom Brady averaged more yards per attempt while targeting Gordon (10.4 yards per attempt) than any player in his illustrious career with a minimum of 30 attempts. Gordon will stretch the field and have WR2 upside, but he's also an extreme risk due to his repeated drug violations. He has only played a handful of snaps this preseason, and it might take some time for him to get acclimated. Look at him as more of a WR3 or flex option in Week 1.
