Josh Hader Closes Door On Cubs For First Save
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers closer Josh Hader recorded his first save of the season after tossing a scoreless outing. He recorded a strikeout in two-thirds of an inning. Hader was called upon duty when the Cubs scored two runs off Drew Rasmussen in the top of the ninth. However, he closed the door after recording the final two outs in dominant fashion since he tossed five of his six pitches for strikes. The lefty reliever has yet to allow a run in three appearances this season, striking out six and walking out through 2 2/3 innings this year. He's an elite relief pitcher with massive strikeout ability. There is no reason why Hader shouldn't be one of the top fantasy closers this season.
