3 years agoOakland Athletics infielder Josh Harrison (hand) had his X-rays come back negative after being hit on the right hand by a pitch on Tuesday night, according to Martin Gallegos of MLB.com. Harrison was hit on the hand by a pitch in the top of the sixth inning, and while he initially remained in the game he was replaced on defense in the bottom of the sixth by Tony Kemp. He's been having a solid year at the plate, slashing .293/.362/.432 with seven homers, seven steals, 40 RBI and 41 runs scored over 96 games. Managers should consider him day-to-day for now, and check for further updates on his condition.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
