2 years agoTexas Rangers third base prospect Josh Jung's (shoulder) MLB debut is not imminent, according to interim manager Tony Beasley. The Rangers see Jung's current rehab stint as his spring training, and they want to make sure he's ready physically. The 24-year-old, who is the team's top prospect per MLB Pipeline, was on the verge of making the major league squad out of spring training earlier this year before tearing the labrum in his left shoulder. Still, Texas isn't going to rush him to the majors to close out the 2022 campaign. In 15 games in the Arizona Complex League and at Triple-A Round Rock, Jung has hit an impressive .333/.419/.833 with a 1.253 OPS, eight home runs, 20 RBI and 12 runs scored in 62 plate appearances. Whenever he does make his MLB debut, Jung will be attractive to fantasy managers in all leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
