3 years agoFree-agent kicker Josh Lambo filed a lawsuit against the Jacksonville Jaguars, seeking his $3.5 million salary for last season, plus damages for emotional distress. Lambo is claiming that his performance suffered as a result of being kicked and verbally abused by former head coach Urban Meyer. The 31-year-old is saying that the Jaguars created a hostile work environment in 2021. The fourth-most accurate kicker in NFL history was released last October. Meyer denies that the incident happened in the way Lambo described, but Lambo also said that the former head coach threatened to cut him just days after the kicking incident. It remains to be seen if Lambo has a real case here, but Meyer only made it 13 games in his Jaguars tenure before being fired.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
