3 years agoNew England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels reportedly has a "good chance" to become the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, this connection has been building since last week. There's momentum, but it still needs to go through the interview process and align with the right general manager. McDaniels hasn't been a head coach since 2010 when he was with the Denver Broncos. He owned an 11-17 record and was fired after Week 13 during the 2010 season. McDaniels was lauded for his previous work with Tom Brady and praised for developing rookie QB Mac Jones. After another successful long tenure (decade-plus) as the Patriots offensive coordinator, if hired, McDaniels will look for better results the second time around as a head coach. Stay tuned.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
