7 years agoIt appears that the search for the next Indianapolis Colts head coach might be at an end. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reports that New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has Indianapolis as his preferred destination and is expected to accept the team's offer when it comes. We are unlikely to hear much more about McDaniels as a potential head coach until New England is either eliminated from the playoffs or wins the Super Bowl, but it was rumored that the recently vacant Tennessee Titans head coach position was one that McDaniels was interested in. Now that there is more clarity on McDaniels heading to Indianapolis, the Colts are all but certain to benefit from reform on the offensive side of the ball with his notorious quick passing scheme.--TMax-12
