Josh Naylor Carted Off After Outfield Collision
3 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Josh Naylor (leg) had to be carted off the field Sunday with his right leg immobilized in a medical device after a collision with second baseman Ernie Clement. The injury specifics weren't immediately known, but Naylor appeared to be in "extreme pain," according to MLB.com's Mandy Bell. Naylor, who is slashing .253/.301/.700 on the season, has been a solid contributor for the Tribe but doesn't offer much fantasy value except in deep and AL-only formats for his power. Based on Naylor's reaction, this could very well be a serious injury that keeps him out for an extended timeline. Harold Ramirez, who is hitting .279/.315/.479 with six home runs and 19 RBI in 140 at-bats in 2021, stands to benefit the most if Naylor misses extended time.
