Josh Naylor Diagnosed With Broken Leg
3 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Josh Naylor (leg) was officially diagnosed with a broken leg. Naylor crashed into teammate Ernie Clement while both were going after a pop fly during the series finale against Minnesota. After immediately going down, he immediately began wincing in pain, requiring the leg to be immobilized and a trip on a cart. The 24-year-old is batting .255 this season throughout 257 plate appearances and has been a stable presence in the lineup for both the club and fantasy managers. He will undoubtedly be taking a trip to the injured list, although a timetable for his return is unknown at the moment. He was replaced in the lineup on Sunday by Bradley Zimmer, who expected to see more playing time moving ahead.
