5 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Josh Naylor should get an extended audition in the big leagues with the departure of Franmil Reyes. Naylor, recalled from Triple-A on Thursday, will likely share left field duties with Wil Myers as a left-handed platoon bat. The 22-year-old Naylor has registered a .640 OPS with three homers in 116 plate appearances with the Friars this season but had performed well in the minors (.936 OPS). The future for Naylor isn’t guaranteed so he’ll have an opportunity to prove his worth. He’s off the fantasy radar but could be a cheap DFS source if he ever finds a groove down the stretch.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
