3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Josh Palmer will look to lock down the No. 3 wide receiver spot in Week 3 of the preseason versus the Seattle Seahawks. The rookie is competing with Jalen Guyton and Tyron Johnson for the spot. The former Tennessee Volunteer has drawn plenty of praise throughout training camp and that has carried over to both preseason games. Johnson has been dealing with a foot injury that has slowed him down and Guyton has been used more as someone to stretch the field. Palmer has caught seven of his eight targets for 39 yards and a touchdown so far and has been making more noise than Guyton and Williams throughout the offseason. Despite starting quarterback Justin Herbert sitting out preseason games, Palmer continues to impress and he could be a sleeper to target at the end of upcoming drafts. If he wins the No. 3 spot, managers should note that No. 2 wide receiver Mike Williams has a history of health problems and that could make him even more valuable in the long term. Those playing DFS in Week 3 should give the rookie a look.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
