Josh Reddick Has Eight RBI Over Last Six Games
7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick has enjoyed a productive past week, hitting three home runs with eight runs batted in over his last six games. These numbers have been inflated by his monster two-home run, five-RBI performance on Saturday against the White Sox, but Reddick now has six home runs in the month of April. The veteran outfielder was in line to possibly lose playing time this season to rising players like Derek Fisher or Jake Marisnick, but he simply is too valuable to keep out of the lineup long. His batting average has slumped a bit lately, but Reddick has become a dependable run producer for the Astros after hitting .346 in 130 at-bats with runners in scoring position in 2017. He can be a tricky player at times to track when he is in the lineup but is a solid asset in deeper fantasy leagues off the bench.
