6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick will get the start when the team opens up a short series in Texas against the Rangers. Reddick had been on a nice run but currently is stuck in a 1-for-16 rut over the last four games. Before that, Reddick was flashing signs of getting on a roll. From June 10-June 27, Reddick went 20-for-48 (.416), but only one hit went for extra bases. The biggest issue with Reddick moving forward is how much pop he has left in his bat. The veteran racked up a slugging percentage of .484 in 2017 with 13 home runs and 34 doubles. But his slugging percentage has sagged to .386 through 202 at-bats this season with only 14 extra-base hits. Reddick still has plenty time in the season to begin producing more offensively, but it is safe to wonder if he can repeat his performance from last season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
