7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick (leg) will not be ready to return to the team by the end of his 10-day disabled list stint. Reddick is a ways away and has not resumed baseball activities yet. He is dealing with an infection in his leg from what the team believes to be a spider bite suffered on a previous road trip. The infection is causing plenty of pain, and Reddick is unable to begin working his way back. This will open up more at-bats for Tony Kemp and Jake Marisnick for the time being. Reddick this season is hitting only .227 through 132 at-bats with 18 runs driven in.--Joey C - RotoBaller
