Josh Rogers Allows Four Runs In Final Start
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Josh Rogers made his final start of 2022 Friday against the Boston Red Sox, and he gave up four runs on seven hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out three batters. Rogers cruised through his first five frames once again before allowing two home runs in the sixth inning. He finishes with a 3.28 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 35 2/3 innings, playing himself into streaming consideration, but his 22 strikeouts keep him from having much high-end upside.
