Joshua Kelley Logs 10 Carries In Week 14
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Joshua Kelley recorded 33 yards on 10 carries in a Week 14 victory against the New York Giants. Kelley saw additional action with starting running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) exiting the contest early. The Chargers have a quick turnaround with a Week 15 matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs and it's possible that Ekeler could sit out that contest. If Ekeler were to sit out on Thursday, Kelley and veteran Justin Jackson would likely split carries. Kelley is more likely to see early down snaps with Jackson as the third-down back and receiving back. In non-ppr leagues, Kelley provides more value and in ppr leagues managers should look towards Jackson. More should be known on the status of Ekeler prior to Thursday, but managers who roster Ekeler should consider insuring him with both Kelley and Jackson.
