Joshua Palmer Clears Concussion Protocol
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer (concussion) cleared the league's concussion protocol and was doing individual drills in training camp practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Brandon Staley. Palmer has been a standout in camp this summer and caught three passes for 75 yards and a touchdown in the second preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys. The 22-year-old is solidifying the No. 3 receiver job behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and should be able to improve on his 33-353-4 line in 17 games (five starts) as a rookie in 2021. Palmer is absolutely worth a late-round draft pick in deeper fantasy leagues in LA's improving offense under young quarterback Justin Herbert.
